In addition, the broadcaster will also show action from this season's Women's FA Cup, as well as the Community Shield curtain-raiser between the winners of the FA Cup and the Premier League in August.

Sports subscription platform DAZN has been the broadcaster of the FA Cup in Spain in recent years, with rights distributed across Europe – on behalf of England's Football Association – by the Pitch International agency.

Various high-profile Spanish national team players remain in this season's competition, including Rodri (Manchester City), Marc Cucurella (Chelsea), and Martin Zubimendi (Arsenal). Arsenal are also managed by Spaniard Mikel Arteta.

The quarter-final matches are Manchester City vs Liverpool, Chelsea vs Port Vale, Southampton vs Arsenal, and West Ham United vs Leeds United, across the weekend of April 4 and 5.

In terms of knockout cup soccer, Movistar Plus also holds rights domestically to Spain's Copa del Rey for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons, and broadcasts 55 games annually from that competition.

Movistar Plus also covers Spain's top-tier LaLiga until 2032, alongside DAZN.

England's Premier League, meanwhile, is shown in the Spanish market by DAZN, with that tie-up (which began last summer) also running through 2027-28.

Movistar Plus' recent rights-based activity includes a deal with FIBA, basketball's international governing body, unveiled earlier this month and running until 2029.
