The Los Angeles Dodgers franchise of Major League Baseball (MLB) is set to announce a new presenting partner for the field at its Dodgers Stadium home, with Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo reportedly set to take up the valuable inventory.

US news outlet The Athletic reported that Uniqlo will serve as the presenting partner of the field within the stadium, which will be known as Uniqlo Field at Dodger Stadium, but crucially not the naming rights partner of the stadium itself.

That publication said that the Dodgers had not been willing to sell the rights to the stadium itself, ensuring the venue’s iconic name, unchanged since the stadium’s construction in 1962, remains.

International commercial agency Sportfive had been tapped to help lead the search for a major partner, and now, seemingly, Uniqlo will become the latest Japanese brand to capitalize on the back-to-back World Series champions’ burgeoning popularity across both sides of the Pacific.

Indeed, the presence of elite pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, young talent Roki Sasaki, and three time back-to-bacl reigning MVP Shohei Ohtani has helped attract a myriad of Japanese brands to sponsor the Dodgers.

Japanese brands partnered with the Dodgers in the 2025 campaign included Daiso, Nippon Airways, Toyo Tires, Kose Corporation, Toei Animation, and Kowa Company.

The 2026 MLB campaign will open on March 25 with a standalone showpiece game between the New York Yankees and the San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers franchise will begin its campaign a day later against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Elsewhere in MLB, the Tampa Bay Rays have struck a new multi-year partnership agreement with Dream Finders Homes.

As the official home builder of the Rays, the property firm will gain prominent branding presence across Rays operations, including naming rights to the left terrace at the team’s 25,025-capacity Tropicana Field home, alongside media assets and future collaborations on in-person activations at Rays games.

This agreement also extends to the Tampa Bay Rowdies soccer team, owned by the Rays, of the USL competition.

Patrick Zalupski, the founder and chief executive of Dream Finders Home, acquired the Rays (and the Rowdies) as part of a consortium in 2025, serves as the team’s co-chair, and is already leveraging his personal business interests to bolster the team’s partnership portfolio.

The property company is already partnered with several sports organizations across the state of Florida, including the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL franchise and the University of Florida, and beyond with the likes of golf’s PGA Tour, and Minor League Baseball, for both of which it is the official home builder.

The Rays’ first game of the MLB season will also take place on March 26, away at the St. Louis Cardinals, with its first home game coming on April 6 against the Chicago Cubs.
