US media company AMC Networks has secured domestic rights to the TNA Wrestling promotion, in a deal that will see weekly bouts aired on its cable channel from next year onwards.

The multi-year agreement will see TNA’s weekly Thursday Night Impact aired on the AMC cable channel, starting with a live event in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas on January 15, 2026.

The two-hour Thursday broadcasts – from 9pm ET to 11pm Eastern Time –  will carry through the year and will also be made available on streaming service AMC+.

TNA Wrestling president Carlos Silva has said: “We are super excited to bring the in-ring excitement, energy, and drama of TNA Wrestling to AMC.

“TNA Wrestling heads into 2026 the hottest it has ever been – with intense rivalries and a fan base that loves the TNA stars. We cannot wait to expand the TNA audience with our new partner, AMC Networks, which has such a long and storied history of serving passionate and engaged fans across so many shows and franchises, through this new media rights deal.”

The new broadcast partnership adds to TNA’s coverage in the US, with programming currently airing on cable channel AXS TV, as well as on the TNA+ app, (powered by Endeavor Streaming).

The promotion also receives additional exposure through its multi-year partnership with the World Wrestling Entertainment heavyweight circuit, struck earlier this year, that sees several TNA wrestlers appearing on WWE NXT junior circuit and occasionally on the main roster.

Dan McDermott, chief content officer at AMC Networks and president of AMC Studios, has said: “TNA’s impressive growth and success is driven by the stories, characters, and non-stop action fans love.

“We put fans at the center of everything we do, and TNA has built its brand and its programming around that same dedication and focus. What a great opportunity to come together and make 'Thursday Night iMPACT!' a dynamic and entertaining weekly event on AMC and AMC+ starting next month.”

The new wrestling rights, meanwhile, mark a distinct change for AMC, which is traditionally known for airing Emmy Award-winning dramas, including Breaking Bad and Mad Men. The network, which controls BBC America, IFC, Sundance TV, and We TV, is majority owned by the Dolan family.

James Dolan is best known for leading Madison Square Garden Sports and Madison Square Garden Entertainment, the MSG Networks, and the daily operations of basketball’s New York Knicks and ice hockey’s New York Rangers.
