The Cricket Australia (CA) governing body has brought in Origin Energy as a main commercial partner for the next three years.
Through a tie-up unveiled earlier today, Sydney-based Origin Energy becomes the shirt sleeve sponsor for the men's test team, with the agreement coming into effect for the start of the 2025-26 Ashes series against old rivals England, later this week.

The deal covers that five-test series, beginning in Perth on Friday and running through until early January in Sydney, and then also stretches across the 2026-27 and 2027-28 Australian cricketing summers.
HCLTech had spent time as the Australian men's team's sleeve sponsor previously.
Origin is the largest Australian energy supplier, with this agreement coming over two years after CA let its deal with Alinta Energy come to an end (with suggestions at the time that captain Pat Cummins, outspoken on the issue of climate change and clean energy, had been involved in that process).
Indeed, Origin's Cricket for Climate venture already involves Cummins as an ambassador.
