The upcoming Audi Formula 1 (F1) team has announced international banking and payments startup Revolut as its first title sponsor.
As the team’s main sponsor, Revolut will gain top-line branding presence over the entirety of the Audi F1 team, on the team’s car, race suit, across broadcast coverage, and of course in the team’s name itself.
Additionally, the Revolut Business tech system will be integrated across Audi F1 operations, including its internal financial system, and will be used to power consumer-facing merchandise transactions.
This will come into effect ahead of the 2026 F1 campaign, in which Audi will debut, replacing the Sauber team.
On the attraction of F1 for brands, Audi F1 chief executive and Sauber Motorsport chair Gernot Döllner added: “Audi is entering Formula 1 with a clear ambition: to use the platform as a technologically relevant and economically sustainable investment in the future of the Audi brand.
“Formula 1 is a global stage that offers us the opportunity to reach new target groups together and generate enthusiasm for our products.”

By GlobalDataThe current Sauber team is title sponsored by crypto casino and sports betting platform Stake, and its livestream platform Kick.
That deal runs through the end of the current 2025 campaign, after which Audi, which acquired 100% of Sauber in 2024, will supplant the Swiss motorsports organization as the operator of the team.
Audi has already secured several commercial partnerships to support its relaunch, including its first partner, oil and gas giant BP.
The team’s commercial partnership operations are being managed by premium experiences and retail agency Legends, which is building out Audi’s portfolio.
For Revolut’s part, this deal rapidly accelerates the brand’s growing sports sponsorship program, through which it has taken a growing presence in European sport over the past year.
In 2024, the brand signed on as the presenting partner of the Blast Premier Spring Final esports event.
After that, it turned its attention to basketball, where it sponsored the NBA Paris international game in consecutive years through an ongoing deal that will continue into 2026.
Perhaps Revolut’s biggest splash has been in the world of European soccer, where it became the sponsor of Manchester City women’s soccer club in early 2025.
Earlier in July, Revolut expanded its presence in soccer through a new partnership with Italian top-flight Como 1907, for which it will serve as official global banking and FC partner with prominent branding presence.
