Stake.com, the crypto casino and sports betting platform, has expanded its partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) mixed martial arts promotion.
This sees the platform become UFC’s first-ever official betting partner in Brazil.
It will also continue to hold this sponsorship status in Asia, as per its previous agreement sealed last year.
Stake.com will also become the presenting sponsor for UFC’s pay-per-view events in Brazil.
The brand will gain brand visibility in the Octagon during select events and via co-created integrations across UFC-owned social and digital media platforms.
The first content will be distributed this week ahead of the fight between Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker on February 12 at the Toyota Center in Houston, the US.
In addition, the partnership incorporates an annual brand ambassador fund that will offer marketing opportunities to UFC athletes.
Nick Smith, president of global partnerships at UFC, said: “With sports betting becoming more widely accessible, we have added Brazil, a very important emerging gaming market, to a far-reaching collaboration that already included key regions within Latin America and Asia.
“We look forward to working with Stake.com to continue to offer a unique way for fans to experience the action and excitement of UFC through Stake.com’s innovative and emerging gaming platform.”
Mladen Vuckovic, chief executive at Stake, com, added: “Our relationship with UFC is only getting stronger, and we cannot wait to welcome UFC fans from all around the world onto our platform.”
Earlier this month, UFC extended its partnership with online betting company Bet365.
