Silverstone, the motorsports venue and organizer of racing’s Formula 1 (F1) British Grand Prix (GP), has continued its recent run of commercial activity by renewing its partnership with ticketing company SecuTix.

The renewal builds on the pair’s original five-year partnership struck in 2022 that sees the Switzerland-based firm manage ticket sales for all Silverstone events, including the Formula 1 and MotoGP’s British GP, the Silverstone Interactive Museum, and its Driving and Track Experiences.

The venue said that since adopting SecuTix’s fan-first platform, it has seen significant gains in fan engagement, operational efficiency, and understanding of its fan base, culminating in record-breaking results for last year’s F1 British Grand Prix.

The 2025 British GP saw more than 500,000 spectators across the event weekend – the highest-attended GP in 30 years, with digital ticketing playing a role in ensuring smoother entry flows and reducing ticketing issues.

Nick Read, chief commercial officer at Silverstone, has said: “We’re delighted to extend our relationship with SecuTix. Their technology has transformed how we sell, manage, and understand our tickets and fans.

“The insights we gain from the partnership are proving invaluable in helping us deliver what is now the world's leading Formula 1 event in terms of both scale and revenue. We’re excited to build on this success with new services and functionality.”

The company said on the commercial side, enhanced product-packaging capabilities have unlocked new revenue opportunities and enabled more flexible pricing strategies, leading to sustained revenue growth.

The increase has allowed reinvestment across the Silverstone estate, including the launch of a new on-site hotel, Escapade, hosting CarFest this August, and the opening of Kart Silverstone.

The renewal adds to SecuTix’s portfolio of partnerships with motorsports organizations, including the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar.

Secutix vice president David Hornby said: “Renewing with Silverstone reflects their confidence in the stability, scalability, and performance of the SECUTIX platform and teams.

“We look forward to introducing new features, including an upgraded ticket shop, that will help Silverstone continue to evolve and delight its fans.”

The renewal also comes as Silverstone continues its commercial partnership push, having secured British retailer Marks and Spencer as its official partner of the circuit earlier this month.

The partnership spans year-round activity at the circuit, including track days, hospitality, fan zones, music, entertainment, and more, including an elevated presence at key events, including F1, motorcycling’s MotoGP, and CarFest.

The circuit also announced Audi as its official car partner from 2026 in February, with the luxury carmaker to provide a fleet of luxury vehicles to support VIP transportation across major events and act as the official pace car partner for several race events.
