US golf’s PGA Tour has announced the Royal Bank of Canada has renewed its title sponsorship agreement covering the tour’s Heritage and Canadian Open events.

Under the renewals, the two events will continue to be named the RBC Heritage and RBC Canadian Open, having held the designations since 2012 and 2008, respectively.

The next edition of the RBC Heritage, a PGA Tour signature event, is due to take place at Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina, US, on April 16, while the RBC Canadian Open will return to TPC Toronto in Ontario, Canada, on June 11, 2026.

Both events will be broadcast domestically by Paramount-owned US network CBS and its streaming service Paramount+, as well as The Golf Channel, international sports broadcaster ESPN, and SiriusXM. International viewers can gain access via the tour’s World Feed platform.

The sponsorship renewals come months after RBC struck a significant commercial deal with LA Galaxy, champions of North America’s Major League Soccer (MLS), earlier this year.

RBC serves as the jersey sleeve partner of the club, as well as a founding partner of the team’s home stadium, Dignity Health Sports Park.

RBC also has a league-wide commercial relationship with MLS, with that tie-up having last been renewed in February 2023.

Meanwhile, the PGA Tour has secured two major commercial partners for this year’s World Champions Cup international teams competition.

The tour announced footwear apparel firm Skechers as the event’s title sponsor, while Shriners Children’s has been confirmed as the official charity partner.

Reflecting the partnerships, the tournament will be named the Skechers World Champions Cup Supporting Shriners Children's.

The tournament, between Team International, Team USA, and Team Europe, is due to be played from December 4 to 7 at Feather Sound Country Club in Florida.

Skechers will activate its partnership through an immersive pop-up shop and sponsorship of the Skechers VIP share hospitality suite. Shriners Children’s, meanwhile, will be the beneficiary of the event and host the Celebrity Classic on December 1.

ESPN and free-to-air sister channel ABC will provide exclusive domestic coverage of the tournament.
