SailGP, the international sailing series, has named GoPro, the wearable camera brand as its official on-board action camera provider.
The partnership will see GoPro outfit SailGP teams with its Hero9 and Max cameras throughout season two, which began in Bermuda last month.
GoPro will additionally provide various mounting accessories to support the cameras on the boats.
The series will visit Italy, Great Britain, Denmark, France, Spain, New Zealand before concluding in San Francisco in the USA for the Grand Final next year on 27 March.
In addition, SailGP and GoPro will jointly produce a competition, via SailGP.com/GoPro, called 'What’s your next adventure?', with entries opening today.
The two winners will be announced at the Grand Final and will receive a SailGP x GoPro prize bundle as well as an exclusive SailGP season three experience.
