Chelsea, the English Premier League soccer club, has today announced a new, long-term global partnership with Dubai-based luxury real estate company Damac Properties.

As part of the deal, Damac will feature on the front of the shirts for the men’s and women’s teams for the remainder of the 2024-25 season, starting with the men’s UEFA Conference League semi-final fixture against Djurgården tomorrow (May 1).

The Damac logo will not feature on the team’s shirts beyond this season, with Chelsea in the market for a new front-of-shirt sponsor for the upcoming Club World Cup competition and the 2025-26 campaign.

Damac has been designated as the official property development partner of Chelsea.

The partnership includes a collaboration between the two parties to create a soccer-themed real estate project, named Chelsea Residences by DAMAC.

Jason Gannon, president and chief operating officer of Chelsea, said: "Damac is world-renowned in building luxury properties, and we are thrilled to be working with the industry leader to bring to market a first-of-its-kind branded Chelsea FC residence in Dubai. The collaboration will support our continued growth on the global stage.”

Chelsea has played the entire season without a main front-of-shirt sponsor.

However, the West London-based club named events and ticketing company Live Nation as its new sleeve sponsor in February, taking over from rival events and ticketing platform Fever midway through the campaign.

Live Nation is one of three principal partners of Chelsea, alongside kit supplier Nike and training kit sponsor Bingx.

Last season, the side also began the Premier League campaign without a primary shirt sponsor but agreed a deal with Infinite Athlete in late September 2023.

Chelsea last week (April 24) agreed a new partnership with global ticketing giant Ticketmaster.

Other recent commercial deals include a tie-up with the Twilio customer engagement platform and a new regional sponsorship agreement with crypto casino Roobet.
