Betway, the international online betting operator, has extended and expanded its partnership with VfB Stuttgart, of German soccer’s Bundesliga, for a further three years.

The contract renewal will see the brand continue as official betting partner of the team until 2024, as well as become a premium partner.

Betway first joined forces with Stuttgart as a team partner in 2020.

Under the new agreement, Betway will receive brand exposure at the team’s Mercedez-Benz Arena via LED boards, static boards and other sponsor areas.

The betting operator will also receive activation rights.

Betway joins Brain House and Guttgarter Hofbrau as premium partners of the club, with Jako the kit supplier and Mercedes-Benz Bank the main sponsor.

Anthony Werkman, chief executive of Betway, said: “VfB Stuttgart is one of the most successful football clubs in Germany. We are very proud to be a premium partner for the next three years. This commitment reflects the ambitions of our brand, because the Bundesliga is recognized as one of the most important football leagues around the world. "

Thomas Hitzlsperger, chief executive of VfB, added: “Our partnership has proven itself for both sides, even in a challenging time for football. We are therefore very happy that Betway is expanding its involvement with VfB and we look forward to a long-term cooperation. "

Elsewhere, Vitesse Arnhem, of Dutch soccer’s top-tier Eredivisie, have named eToro, the online trading platform, as their new main sponsor.
