Aviva Ireland, the Irish arm of the international insurance and financial services giant, has renewed its partnership with the country’s soccer (FAI) and rugby union (IRFU), through which it will continue as the naming rights partner of Dublin’s Lansdowne Road stadium.
The 51,711-capacity venue has been known as the AVIVA Stadium since its 2010 opening, and through this latest renewal, that naming rights partnership will continue through 2030.

Aviva will also remain an official sponsor of the FAI and IRFU, covering each’s respective men’s and women’s national teams.
In recent years, the partnership has had a focus on grassroots activities run by the two sporting bodies, with Aviva supporting participation-driving efforts.
Speaking on the new agreement, IRFU chief executive Kevin Potts commented: “Aviva Stadium has been at the heart of Irish rugby for over a decade, hosting some of the most iconic moments in our game’s history.
“This renewal not only supports our national teams but also the grassroots programs that inspire the next generation of players across the country. We look forward to building on this great partnership in the years ahead.”

By GlobalDataAs the home venue of all sets of rugby and soccer national teams, Aviva will naturally gain prominent branding presence across the venue around matchdays, which include the annual Six Nations elite regional rugby tournament, UEFA Nations League soccer competition, qualifying for major soccer tournaments, and other rugby exhibitions.
The stadium also serves as a major concert venue throughout the year, and also hosts other sporting events, most notable being the annual Aer Lingus College Football Classic American football game.
In 2028, the Aviva Stadium will play host to games at the UEFA European Championships, European soccer’s top quadrennial tournament, although the Aviva moniker will be removed to comply with UEFA’s partnership strategy.
Earlier in 2025, the FAI agreed a new media rights deal with Irish public service broadcaster RTE, ensuring continued coverage of the Irish women’s national team.
