A brand new and exciting way to keep up to date with the action from the Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship 2006 has been launched today, in the form of daily video podcasts.

Podcasts are short video and audio files, which can be downloaded easily via your computer. The daily podcast will feature the seven fleets racing at The Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy this week, which include the RS:X windsurfers (boys & girls), Hobie Cat 16 (mixed), single handed Laser class and the double handed 420 class, both of which have separate male and female fleets.

The Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship 2006 has a record-breaking number of nations this year, with 63 in attendance and 281 competitors from around the globe. The young sailors are battling it out all week for the glory of becoming the Youth World Champion.

How to Subscribe in iTunes

In order to subscribe to the Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championships video podcast via the programme iTunes you need to do the following:

In iTunes go to the Advanced > Subscribe to podcast
Enter in the following url  http://www.appftp.com/apppodcast/isafyouthworlds2006beta.xml
Go to the Podcast section of your iTunes and you should see the new entry, with titles. Once it is downloaded you can watch in iTunes, and sync with your video iPod
