Yes Television, one of the leading broadband television service providers, launched two new channels at MIPCOM – Yes Sport and Yes Shop.
Yes Sport is the first converged channel for Yes Television, combining web-sourced news on demand and high quality Video on Demand sports coverage. The channel brings together, for the first time, Yes Television’s expanded package of sports content, in video and web page form, in one easy-to-use content area.
Rolling news is provided by leading news provider Ananova, making Yes the perfect choice for checking the latest update on sports news.
Top sports content is also available, time-delayed, on Yes Sport. Coverage includes weekly shows such as Futbol Mundial, events such as the British Open Golf, World Rugby Sevens, NCAA Basketball Final Four, Le Mans 24 Hour and Wimbledon, in addition to a range of World Cup Soccer Qualifiers including Finland vs England. Yes Television has already signed a slate of deals with major suppliers including TWI, the BBC and Sunset and Vine. At MIPCOM, Yes Television is seeking to acquire further sports content for the channel.
A deal has also been sealed with one of Britain’s most respected Internet bookmakers, Sportingbet.com, enabling Yes viewers to bet tax free on Yes Sport.
Yes Shop brings the best of Internet shopping to the TV, enabling customers to view, select and buy a wide range of goods, holidays and services 24 hours a day seven days a week.
