Tokyo, Japan/Stamford, CT USA, January 11th 2005 – World Wrestling Entertainment and Fuji Television Network said today that WWE RAW will be presented on Friday 4th February and WWE SMACKDOWN! will be presented on Saturday 5th February at the Saitama SuperArena.

This will be the first time ever Japanese fans can see live their favourite superstars on consecutive nights in television events. Leading the charge from WWE RAW are Triple H®, Randy Orton™, Chris Benoit®, Ric Flair®, Edge® and Trish Stratus®; and from WWE SMACKDOWN! are Undertaker®, JBL™, Eddie Guerrero™, Kurt Angle®, Big Show® and Torrie Wilson™.

‘WWE guarantees all our Japanese fans a tremendous experience,’ said Shane McMahon™, WWE Executive Vice President, Global Media. ‘Producing RAW and SMACKDOWN in Japan in February will start our Road to Wrestlemania® 21 activities in Asia in 2005. WWE invites all our fans in Japan to join us for this historic occasion.’

Fuji TV will also be involved in the production of RAW and SMACKDOWN!. Along with WWE, Fuji TV will utilise its knowledge in hosting major events to make this historical TV Show, a success and a tremendous experience for WWE fans across the world.
