SANTA MONICA, CA – OCTOBER 3, 2006 – World Championship Sports Network (WCSN), the country’s premier multi-platform world championship sports destination, announced today that Doug Neiman has joined the network as vice president of online sales.  Neiman brings over 10 years of experience in Internet advertising sales and marketing for online properties including IAC/Interactive, Ask Jeeves (Ask.com) and mailtExcite@Home

Neiman worked as the sales director for Ask.com, handling some of the largest deals in the country including Ameriquest, SBC and Gateway.  Ask.com was built from a $50 million market cap when Neiman joined in 2001 and eventually sold to IAC/Interactive Corp for almost $2 billion in 2004.  During the ownership transition, Neiman was responsible for overseeing the incorporation of Excite, Iwon and the Max Online Network into the IAC portfolio of companies, managing the telecommunication and travel teams, along with becoming the main agency liaison for top regional advertising executives in Seattle and Las Vegas.  His expertise in online marketing will help enhance WCSN’s revenue through multi-platform direct sales and management, creating and identifying convergent opportunities with advertisers to capitalize on the network’s capacity to attract new demographics.

Prior to working at IAC/Interactive Corp, Neiman served as sales manager for mailtExcite@Home, where he worked on key accounts including Sony, Universal Picture, Hiltonand Disney, and negotiated deals on behalf of his team for over $15 million.   Neiman spent six years in domestic, international and home video film distribution before being recruited to help start a new emerging channels sales division for Vivendi Universal Interactive.
