Tonight’s thrilling local derby between Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves at the JJB Stadium (Kick Off 8.00PM) is now the opening match of Tetley’s Super League VI after the game between Bradford Bulls and St Helens was postponed earlier this morning due to a frozen pitch.

The Bulls v Saints encounter has been re-scheduled for Sunday March 4th 2001 (Kick-Off 3.00 PM at Valley Parade, Bradford).

The Warriors v Wolves match will now be shown live on Sky Sports.

Super League (Europe) Limited General Manager Gary Tasker commented, ‘Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves will be a fantastic encounter which will more than do justice to the honour of being the season opener.

‘It’s a thrilling local derby and it presents the first chance for supporters to see some of Tetley’s Super League’s exciting new players in action.’

The re-scheduled game between Bradford Bulls and St Helens is NOT now on Sky Sports.

Supporters are advised that the Bulls’ office at Odsal will be open on Saturday from 9.30AM until 12.30PM for ticket sales.
