For the second year running, Fast Track Events Limited – organisers of the forthcoming 2006 VISA Paralympic World Cup – has appointed WGT Sport Limited to be the Official Supplier of Travel, Transport and Accommodation to its international showpiece in Manchester.

UK-based WGT Sport’s ’total package’ of bespoke travel and integrated accommodation proved to be a winning formula at last year’s inaugural competition for world-class elite athletes with a disability.  Both organisers and athletes applauded WGT Sport’s management of the events complex logistics and this, together with the company’s distinct ‘can do’ philosophy are believed to have been key to the contract award.

Managing Director of Fast Track Limited, Jon Ridgeon was delighted to have WGT back on board, commenting, “WGT has proved it can handle a world-class event with professionalism and proficiency and we’re looking forward to working together in what is clearly a highly successful and mutually rewarding partnership”.

This year, the World Cup will prove a greater logistical challenge, having been extended from four to seven days.  Nevertheless, Operations Director Simon Hainsworth reaffirmed total confidence in his team’s ability to deliver.  “There are a lot of people with a stake in the success of this event,” he said, “and we are committed to providing them with the peace of mind that a dependable, expedient and ultimately high quality service delivers”.

The VISA Paralympic World Cup takes place in Manchester from 1st to the 7th May2006.  WGT Sport Limited recently announced that it has won a similar contract to provide transport, travel and accommodation services to the 2006 World Rowing Championships, which will be held at Eton in August.
