UNICEF is the driving force that helps in building a world where the rights of every child are realized.

UNICEF has the global authority to influence decision-makers and the variety of partners at grassroots level to turn the most innovative ideas into reality.

That makes UNICEF unique among world organizations and unique among those working with the youth. UNICEF has had a long tradition in working in Sports Partnerships with leading organisations and individuals to accelerate their cause.

We are happy to announce that UNICEF will be making two presentations at the INTERNATIONAL SPORTS CONVENTION 2014 (on day 1 – December 10, 2014). They will present at the:

1) Host Cities and Sports Events Conference, and

2) Sports Sponsorship Conference

– showing the work UNICEF has done in the Sports Sector.

Nigel Fletcher – CEO of the INTERNATIONAL SPORTS CONVENTION 2014 comments: Sport has the power to affect positive change throughout the world and sometimes at a faster and more effective way than governments. It is an honour for the INTERNATIONAL SPORTS CONVENTION  2014 to assist UNICEF in building a better future for every child.

The INTERNATIONAL SPORTS CONVENTION 2014 will be taking place on December 10-11, 2014 at Palexpo, Geneva, having previously been held in Amsterdam in 2012. This will be the world’s largest Sports Convention in 2014, featuring 18 Sports Conferences, a global Sports Exhibition, as well as 150 speakers and 2,000 participants over 2 days.

The INTERNATIONAL SPORTS CONVENTION 2014  has two goals: ensuring business and networking occurs and ensuring best practice in Sport is shared through the conference content and through discussions on the future challenges of Sport.
