Fans of European football throughout the world will be able to watch video highlights from every match at UEFA EURO 2004™ thanks to a new subscription service being offered at the official website – euro2004.com.

The ‘euro2004.com action’ broadband service will provide subscribers with footage of all the key moments, shortly after the final whistle in each of the tournament’s 31 games, from the opening fixture on 12 June 2004 to the final on 4 July 2004. It is the first time such a service has been available for a UEFA European Football Championship.

Subscribers will also receive exclusive access to behind the scenes features and live audio commentary from every match in UEFA EURO 2004™ as well as hundreds of UEFA European Football Championship archive video clips from past final tournaments dating back to the inaugural tournament in 1960.

The service is available in seven languages: English, Portuguese, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Russian.

Commenting on the launch, UEFA New Media CEO, Alexandre Fourtoy, stated: ‘The ‘euro2004.com action’ service is the ideal way for users with a broadband connection to get a real feel for the colour and excitement of the action taking place in Portugal, with access to near live highlights, in-depth city guides and behind the scenes features.’

‘euro2004.com action’ has been developed by UEFA New Media in partnership with Real Networks. The service runs until 31 August, 2004 and is available now at euro2004.com for a one off fee of GBP9.95 in the United Kingdom or €14.95 worldwide.

The euro2004.com website provides Internet users around the world with comprehensive, free of charge coverage of EURO 2004™. The site is available in nine languages and content includes: the latest news, exclusive player interviews, venue guides, competitions, interactive games, a complete history of previous tournaments, all the fixtures, live scores and a guide to the players and teams taking part in the tournament.
