UEFA today announced that the successful long-term UEFA Champions League partnership with its Swiss television partner, SRG SSR idée suisse, will continue for the next three seasons 2003/04, 2004/05 and 2005/06.
The agreement allows all three Swiss channels – SF DRS, TSR and TSI – to carry on their transmission of the live matches and highlights summaries of UEFA’s premier club football competition.
Since 1994 SRG SSR idée suisse has been a very professional partner of the UEFA Champions League and consistently broadcast high quality productions.
Commenting on the agreement UEFA Chief Executive Gerhard Aigner said: ‘We are delighted to have reached an agreement with SRG SSR idée Suisse and to continue this fruitful partnership with a high-quality broadcaster. This deal will benefit football fans in all regions of Switzerland and we are looking forward to sharing more passionate moments with Swiss clubs and their supporters.’
