Soccerex are pleased to announce that representatives from UEFA, Adidas, Intersport and Warner Bros will be speaking on a special licensing panel at the Soccerex European Forum, 30-31 March 2011.
The panel, hosted by UEFA, will be discussing their successful model for major event licensing, focusing on the Euro 2012 tournament and will include Claus-Peter Mayer, VP Global Sports Marketing Football, Adidas, Martin Kempkes, Head of Marketing, Intersport, Stephane Fillastre, Commercial Director, Football, Warner Bros and UEFA’s Senior Licensing Manager, Lars Bretscher.
Titled ‘Euro 2012 Licensing – Reaching the Fans’ the session will cover the role of licensing in the tournament, bringing the EURO brand alive, licensing strategy, commercial objectives, OLP development, marketing & distribution, on-site retail, creative development and official retailers.
These are just the latest in big name brand representatives to be confirmed as speaking at the event including others such as Liverpool FC, Standard Chartered, HSBC, Deloitte, Real Madrid CF, EPFL, La Liga, The All England Lawn Tennis Club, Bundesliga and Bayern Munich.
The Soccerex European Forum is a two-day event which is returning to Manchester for a second year at the Manchester Central and will see the elite of Europe’s football industry come together to debate, network and do business.
The agenda announced so far includes topics such as the German football model, financial equality, commercial challenges to differing sized clubs, successful sponsorship, digital media and fan interaction and Eastern Europe’s upcoming tournaments and market development.
