TWI’s Sinrich Promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer

Bill Sinrich has been appointed to the new global role of President and Chief Operating Officer for TWI. In his new role Mr Sinrich takes full responsibility for all TWI activities worldwide. The company which make 6000 hours of television a year has production centres in London, Hong
Kong, New Delhi, New York, Seoul and Sydney. TWI is the largest independent producer, packager and distributor of sports programming in the world and largest independent production company in the UK. In recent years it has greatly expanded its factual and entertainment output led by the groundbreaking Colour of War series which has won audiences, critical acclaim and awards across the world – [awards include a BAFTA, A Peabody, 2 Indies and a Broadcast Award]

Bill Sinrich, who is currently TWI’s Managing Director for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, joined TWI in 1987 when it had 14 employees and has overseen substantive growth in the company, which now has 1,100 staff at its London Headquarters. TWI employs 1,600 people worldwide and is a major distributor with over 40 international sales offices. Mr Sinrich will continue to base himself in London.

Mark McCormack Chairman and Chief Executive Office of IMG [TWI’s parent company] announced Mr Sinrich’s appointment as part of a streamlined IMG/TWI management structure equipped to meet IMG/TWI’s ambitious plans for the 21st century. Bill Sinrich will report directly to Mr McCormack. Robert D. Kain is promoted to President and Chief Operating Office, IMG Americas and Alastair J. Johnston is to be President and Chief Operating Office, IMG International – both remain based at IMG’s Cleveland HQ in the USA.
