TWI, the largest independent sports production company in the world, will be providing over 90 programme personnel to work with the hostbroadcasting organisation Host Broadcast Services (HBS) at the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan.

HBS will be producing extensive preview and post match programming for all 64 matches played in Korea and Japan next year which will be made available to the official Broadcast Partners .

Graham Fry, TWI’s Head of Production, comments, ‘It is a real privilege for TWI production personnel to have such an important role in the world’s foremost international football competition, confirming the company’s reputation as a major producer of football related programming’.

Francis Tellier, CEO of HBS, adds, ‘HBS is introducing a major innovation into its 2002 Production Plan. The production of the Extended Basic International Feed (EBIF), a first ever in FIFA World CupTM coverage, will present a unique challenge. TWI’s football production personnel bring with them a proven experience of world football production that will enable HBS to create added value for all Broadcast Partners by ensuring additional coverage – even at their training camps and hotels – of all 32 teams set for the Final.’
