The International Olympic Truce Foundation (IOTF), founded by the IOC, held its first meeting this morning in Athens under the chairmanship of Juan Antonio Samaranch. The Board approved the statutes of the Foundation, based on Swiss law, the launch of the International Olympic Truce Centre (IOTC) and established it’s administrative structure. The Board also appointed Fékrou Kidane as Secretary, Thierry Sprunger as Treasurer of the Foundation and Stavros Lambrinidis as Director of the Centre. The Board of the IOTF is composed as follows:
