From January 1 2001, OB (Outside Broadcasting) operations within Teracom AB are being conducted by a wholly owned subsidiary named Teracom Mobile Links AB.
Our customers will notice that we are handling inquiries and bookings faster, simpler and more responsively. We are leaving no stone unturned in our effort to become more competitive on an intensely competitive market. We are already offering a service that puts your broadcasts on the Internet, and we expect to continue developing techniques and procedures that will support a number of streaming video services.
The vast majority of our Outside Broadcast transmissions are transmitted via satellite. We can offer a great deal of freedom in selecting solutions that are both technically and economically beneficial to out clients.
During the last ten years we have been expanding our overseas broadcasts. We are regulary on location in Denmark, Poland, Finland, Norway and germany and we are appearing more and more frequently in the other European countries.
Some of our assignments have been The world Ice Hockey Championships, Speedway, European League Soccer Championships, MTV music awards, European League horse racing in the UK and the 1998 World cup in France.
Our customers are TV4, SVT, TV3 Sports, Canal +, Kanal 5, ZDF, ARD, Retevision, EBU and IEC in Sports.
