· Telecinco will continue to broadcast SBK™ Race 1.
· Óscar del Castillo, Dennis Noyes and Juan Antonio “Queco” Ochoa will form the motorcycle racing outside broadcast team.
· With this extended coverage, Telecinco is giving a further boost to terrestrial digital television, to become the network with the best motor sport coverage in Spain.
Telecinco Sport is extending its weekend sports coverage by broadcasting a live programme dedicated to the world of motorcycle racing, including live coverage of the Supersport World Championship and Superstock 1000 FIM Cup races that take place before the Superbike World Championship meeting. Both races will go out combined with coverage of the SBK™ Race 2, as previously broadcast by Telecinco Sport, while live coverage of SBK™’s Race 1 will continue to be transmitted by Telecinco. This new arrangement will come into force from Sunday 23rd July.
And that is not all! On the Saturday before each race day, Telecinco Sport will be transmitting live coverage of the qualifying (Superpole) sessions that determine the next day’s starting order.
With this integrated coverage over two channels, Telecinco is helping promote terrestrial digital television and becoming the network with the best coverage of motor sport in Spain, with programmes covering Superbike World Championship, Formula 1 and GP2.
