presentation at the Sydney Media Centre to emphasise Australia and Sydney’s growing importance as a financial centre in the Asia-Pacific Region, pointing to the availability of the highly skilled multi lingual workforce
and the sophistication of the IT infrastructure.
* Federal Trade Minister Mark Vaile. Mr. Vaile said Australia estimates the Games will generate an extra $6.5 billion for the Australian economy. He told journalists at the Sydney Media Centre that already, some $400 million worth of new business has been created. Business Club Australia is providing the focal point for networking.
