The Springbok squad of 28 players for the Vodacom International Rugby series against Canada and England will be announced live on Supersport at 18h30 this Saturday, May 20, 2000.

The announcement, to be made by SARFU President Silas Nkanunu, will be made during M-Net’s Open time to give access to as many rugby fans as possible.

The team announcement will be followed by interviews with Springbok Chairman of Selectors, Francois Davids, and Springbok Coach, Nick Mallett.

The South African Under 23 team to compete in the upcoming African Rugby Championship will also be announced live on Supersport shortly after the Springbok team.

Davids and Mallett will then be available to the Media at a Press Conference in SARFU’s Boardroom at 09h00 on Sunday morning, May 21st to discuss the team and the upcoming Test matches.

The South African Under 21 team to defend their title at the SANZAR/UAR Championship will also be announced at this Press Conference after which SA Under 21 Coach Eric Sauls will be available to discuss the upcoming tournament.

The South African Under 23 coach Alistair Coetzee will also be available at the Conference to talk about the South African Under 23 team and the new African Rugby Championship.
