NHK, Japan’s nationwide public broadcaster, has begun introduction of sports of World Games 2001 Akita on their local evening program. All sports of the 6th World Games, 31 in total, will be featured weekly in depth for an half of the 30-minutes long program until the commencement of the Games. This will lead the public to better understanding of World Games sports. The program featuring WG is run on every Monday.
