Frankfurt / Hamburg 9 June 2004 – Today, the Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH (DFL) has awarded the international TV rights of the Bundesliga (the German premier league) to the sport marketing agency SPORTFIVE GmbH after a rigorous tender and selection procedure.
The contract, which also involves a series of measures to promote the Bundesliga brand abroad, is for a period of two years covering the 04/05 and 05/06 seasons. The promotion of the Bundesliga brand seeks to provide the potential for international orientated companies to enhance their international corporate communication through partnership with the Bundesliga.
