Sportal today announced that the company has launched the most comprehensive sports PDA content available. Sportal’s PDA service, accessible via the AvantGo mobile Internet service, will allow users to access almost the entire Sportal offering of top quality sports content, including news, features, results and league tables for Football, Cricket, Rugby, Tennis, Horseracing, Formula 1 and World Rally Championship, all via hand held computer or PDA. This new service means that Sportal content is available across all current mobile Internet platforms, and when combined with the existing WAP service, provides Sportal with the springboard to tackle the new technologies emerging from the wireless medium.
The service launches in the UK today with other language versions coming on stream this week. It will be available throughout Europe in English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Swedish and Danish.

Through AvantGo, users can also access the entire web on their mobile device.
