England Basketball International is pleased to announce that Spalding will be the official supplier of basketballs for its National Teams’ programmes.

Spalding have been associated with basketball in England in the past however this new one year deal will see the Spalding tan basketball being used by all of England Basketball’s National teams, from the Senior Men right down to the Cadet and BAM teams.

Spalding’s Marketing Director Ian Stringfellow said:
‘Spalding is a world-wide name in basketball with our ball being used in many countries, including in the NBA. We are very pleased to be back on board with England Basketball and are sure the players will feel the benefit of playing with the Spalding basketball.’

Chief Executive of England Basketball, Simon Kirkland added:
‘We are delighted to be entering into this partnership with Spalding. It’s an exciting period for our National Teams and I am sure our squads will all benefit hugely from the agreement.’

The Senior Men’s team meet up in Coventry next week in preparation for their two home games at the city’s Skydome Arena against the Slovak Republic (25th November) and Latvia (29th November) in the European Championship semi final Round where the new Spalding ball will make its bow.
