(London – March 30, 2004) British Speedway today announced that Sky Bet had signed a two-year agreement to become the title sponsor of the British Speedways’ top UK league, the Elite League. The competition will be called The Sky Bet Elite Speedway League. The agreement covers the 2004 and 2005 seasons.

Sky Bet also announced that they would also become broadcast sponsor on Sky Sports live and delayed coverage of the league. Sky Sports cover at least one Elite League fixture per week throughout the season.
