SHARK Energy Drink and FIM Endurance World Championship formally announced a one-year sponsorship, naming the brand the official Energy Drink partner for the forthcoming 2004 season.

SHARK, first developed in Thailand, is highly successful in Asian markets. The carbonated ‘SHARK’ Energy Drink is being produced in Austria by Shark AG, for an aggressive push on the European and African markets.

The brand was introduced to the Austrian market in 1998, where it quickly established itself as the uncontested Number Two brand of Energy Drink, a market recognised for its highest per-capita consumption of all European countries.

SHARK is now widely available in more than 40 countries across Europe, USA and Africa.

The FIM Endurance World Championship is one of only three world road racing motorcycle championships sanctioned by the sports governing body; FIM. Endurance has 7 international events including the first-ever international motorsport event in the People’s Republic of China in May.
