Sanex Repositions Women’s Tennis Tour Sponsorship
St. Petersburg, Florida – The Sanex WTA Tour announced today that Sanex will reposition its sponsorship of the WTA Tour at the conclusion of 2002. Sanex will remain involved as an official Tour partner with its new program ‘Sanex Heroes of the WTA Tour’ which involves various features to be presented on the Tour’s website including live player chat sessions, fan based player awards and other activities.
‘We are very pleased to announce Sanex’s continued involvement in women’s professional tennis and are grateful for the support they have given the Tour over the past three years as its title sponsor,’ said Sanex WTA Tour CEO Kevin Wulff.
Sanex became title sponsor of the WTA Tour in January 2000. This sponsorship agreement provided Sanex with the ability to review and redefine its relationship with the Tour after three years.
