Entries are now open for the Rugby Expo Awards 2012, a celebration of outstanding off-the-field performance in rugby which will take place at a star-studded Awards Dinner at Twickenham on the evening of Wednesday 14 November.
All awards are free to enter and will celebrate individual, sponsor and club achievements, as well as giving recognition to the unsung heroes of the sport who work tirelessly behind the scenes and in the grassroots game.
This year’s categories are:
• Sponsor of the year
• Innovation in marketing
• Innovation in training/technical products
• Community programme of the year
• Rugby event of the year
• Rugby venue of the year
• Junior club of the year
• Outstanding contribution to rugby
Following on from the success of the inaugural event last year, the awards will again be judged by an industry-leading expert panel including ex-England international and Rugby World Cup winner Lawrence Dallaglio OBE, M&C Saatchi CEO Steve Martin, lead partner for Deloitte’s sports business group Dan Jones and Dominic Rumbles, head of communications for the IRB.

Rugby Expo 2012 is the fourth occurrence of the event and will take place on 14 – 15 November at Twickenham Stadium, London.
