London – October , 2000: Sportal.co.uk today extended it’s roster of top-line journalists and contributors by adding one of Britain’s most colourful and opinionated football pundits to its pages, Radio 5’s Alan Green, who will contribute weekly, comment columns to Sportal.co.uk.
‘The Internet is a rapidly developing medium, and is becoming more important in the field of reporting and reflecting on football and its issues on a daily basis,’ says Alan Green, ‘I’ve never shied away from voicing my opinions on the game, whether on radio or elsewhere and by working with Sportal, it now allows me to voice my views in cyberspace as well.’
