Quokka Sports, Inc, a leading provider of sports entertainment for the digital world, today announced that Tom Worcester has been named Vice President of Sales and Corporate Partnerships. Formerly Vice President of Sales at NBC/Quokka Ventures, Worcester brings over ten years of sports experience and will be responsible for overseeing the corporate sales team and all partnerships in his new role.
Worcester engineered a number of high profile deals during the Sydney Olympics for NQV’s NBCOlympics.com attracting such high-level sponsors as General Motors, Visa and Adidas, and generating millions of dollars in revenue. Prior to joining Quokka Sports, Worcester was head of corporate sponsorships with Major League Baseball for seven years. Worcester will be based in Norwalk, CT.
