The Ligue Europeenne de Natation (LEN) put up a total prize
money of 34,000 euro plus additional valuable prizes for the 7th European Short Course Swimming Championships in Dublin (December 11-14).

At the end of the event the respective seven best performances by points of the Europeans in the men’s and women’s events will be awarded:

The male and female swimmers showing the best performance in Dublin will receive 5,000 euro each, the second-best 3,000 euro, the third-best 2,000 euro each. Ranks
four to seven are worth 1,500 euro each.

The best newcomers (male and female) of the European Championships will receive 1,000 euro each.

The best performance of the day on the four competition days will be rewarded with a valuable Omega watch (Seamaster). Omega is partner and main sponsor of LEN at
these Championships in addition to swimwear manufacturers, arena, swimming lane manufacturers, Malmsten and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

LEN and Omega will also hold a media competition for the accredited media representatives in Dublin in which the winning time of the men’s 100m freestyle must be forecast. The winner will also take home an Omega watch (Seamaster).
