Premier Rugby, the umbrella organisation responsible for the 12 elite rugby clubs in England, today announced that video highlights of Zurich Premiership matches will be available from one website – www.premier-rugby.tv.
This deal is the latest development in the ground breaking joint venture between Premier Rugby and the RFU and the Internet sports content publisher Sportev.
In a strategic move aimed at uniting the online rugby community in the UK and overseas, Premier Rugby has partnered with Sportev, the online video experts, to provide a custom created highlights solution for the next three seasons of premiership rugby.
Rugby fans already have the opportunity to watch highlights of England matches through the RFU.com site and will now have the advantage of being able to access every key incident and score from all the weekend’s Zurich Premiership fixtures – not just their own team.
As the Zurich Premiership season progresses, fans will be able to view classic club encounters, star player compilations and key moments in each team’s campaign as well as interactive statistical features and player and team profiles. Highlights will be available from 24 hours after kick off.
This comprehensive online coverage marks Premier Rugby’s commitment to bringing the best of British club rugby to a worldwide audience via the internet and providing rugby fans with the latest, innovative techniques available. Users will be able to purchase the clips, paying £1 for a one day license or just £5 for the remainder of the season.

The site will go live for the forthcoming Newcastle Falcons v. London Wasps match on 27th January.
