The Premier League today announced the appointment of Emma Joussemet as Head of Corporate and Community Affairs.

Emma will be responsible for working in partnership with the Clubs to manage and help deliver the Premier League’s huge range of education, community and social inclusion initiatives.

Premier League Chief Executive, Richard Scudamore, said: ‘The Premier League has invested heavily in a wide and diverse programme of education, community and social inclusion projects and we are particularly pleased to have attracted someone of the calibre of Emma to this role.

‘This is a particularly exciting time for the Premier League as we look to develop our proven community initiatives in education and social inclusion as well as delivering new innovative programmes in areas such as crime and health.’

‘I am sure Emma’s first class experience at Club level and in the commercial sector will ensure she makes a much valued contribution to this important and significant part of our business.’

Emma Joussemet joins the Premier League from Nike UK & Ireland Ltd where she was Corporate Responsibility Manager and was previously Head of Community Affairs at Leeds United. Emma will take up her role at the Premier League towards the end of October.
