Paris, June 17 2004 – Paris 2012, the organisation behind the Paris Bid to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012, announced today that Ho Kim has joined its international department.
A native of Korea, Ho Kim is a specialist in international sports marketing and since 2000 had served as president of Octagon Korea. Prior to that, he was the Executive Vice-President of Lang & Associates, an American-based Sponsorship Marketing agency, where he was responsible for developing sponsorship strategies and implementing marketing programs for major Korean clients such as Samsung, Hyundai and Coca-Cola.
Ho Kim is also a long-standing member of the Olympic family having served previously as the Executive Director of the International Bowling Federation, as Marketing and PR Director of the World Taekwondo Federation and as a Games Coordinator for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC).
