PanAmSat Corporation today announced that the company has opened a regional office in Hong Kong to meet the demand for global satellite-based video and data broadcasting services throughout Greater China and Southeast Asia. PanAmSat’s Hong Kong office will be the first point of contact for broadcasters, telecommunications companies, Internet service providers and corporations throughout the region to receive information on PanAmSat’s worldwide capabilities, including four satellites serving China and Southeast Asia.

‘With the recent strengthening of trade relations between the United States and China, PanAmSat is poised for significant growth in the region,’ said Theodore A.
