Kuala Lumpur, 10 September, 2003 – Total Sports Asia (TSA), Asia’s leading independent sports marketing company and TV rights distributor has seen an overwhelming response in placing South American football properties in Asia Pacific after recently being appointed by Traffic Sports Marketing Group (Traffic) for exclusive representation in the region.

‘We have done deals with major networks like NTV in Japan, BBTV 7 in Thailand, KBS in Korea, SCTV in Indonesia and StarHub in Singapore. In the coming weeks, we hope to finalise further deals in Malaysia, India, Bangladesh and Japan,’ said Marcus Luer, Managing Director/CEO of Total Sports Asia Sdn Bhd. ‘We have also concluded deals with buyers in Hong Kong, China and India’ he added.

TSA represents Traffic for The South American World Cup Qualifiers for Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and Venezuela (SAWCQ), The Copa America 2004, CONCACAF Gold Cup, Copa Libertadores, South American Olympic Qualifiers, Copa Sudamericana, The CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers (except USA & Mexico home matches) and the South American U-17 and U-20 Championships.
