Emmy-Award winner Orad Hi-Tec Systems, announced today that Nippon Television Network Corporation (NTV), the leading commercial broadcaster in Japan, purchased Orad’s real-time 3D on-air graphics system PSY, to enhance the on-air look and feel of its presentations. NTV, one of the world’s leading broadcasters, is following the steps of other leading broadcasters such as RTL, Sat.1 and Canal Plus and using Orad’s on-air graphics system.

Orad’s PSY is the world’s first on-air graphics system with high-end performance and low prices based on WindowsTM NT platform. NTV has decided to purchase Orad’s PSY following a thorough evaluation of other on-air graphics systems available in the market today. NTV will introduce its sophisticated visual effects by 3D on-air graphics into their various programs such as news, weather and sports.

NTV outlined that the main motivation behind choosing Orad’s PSY is the high performance integration that displays the highest quality 2D/3D visual effects such as video, images, texts, 3D graphics and animations, in real-time, superior cost performance due to the ability to work with low-cost workstations as well as a compact Windows NT solution with easy operation that does not require special operators.
