Octagon CSI will be presenting an extensive catalogue at SPORTEL this autumn, including a number of new international programmes from various sports.

Octagon CSI continues to offer The F.A.’s extensive portfolio, including The F.A. Cup, Charity Shield, England home international matches, as well as a comprehensively logged archive library consisting of over 15,000 hours of material dating back to 1900.

Following the highly successful ‘Road to’ series, Octagon CSI is launching The Road to Asia 2002. Developed as a magazine style show, the broadcast television offering will consist of 16 x 30 minute programmes, each programme containing an in-depth look at two nations, featuring all the stars, as well as the ones to watch from the so-called outsiders. Using exclusive material from the qualifying stages and specially shot footage, the chances of the qualifying nations are assessed.

‘Basic Elements with Anna Kournikova’ will be introduced for the first time to broadcasters. Octagon CSI, working with its Octagon Athlete Representation office in the U.S. has produced a 35½ minute special featuring probably the world’s favourite female tennis player going through a wide range of conditioning activities.

Octagon CSI has all media rights for the above two programmes for use on broadcast television, home video and DVD, CD-Rom, the Internet and other new media.

From a global tennis icon to the best in continental ladies golf, ‘The Evian Tour’ showcases many of the top Ladies golfers competing in the most challenging courses from around the world. Each event will be available to broadcasters live or as a one-hour highlight. Also adding on to Octagon CSI’s new programming will be 12 x 52 minute highlight programmes of the International Snowboard Federation’s (ISF) Pro Tour Season 2000/2001, which commences in Austria this November.

On the rugby front, a traditional stronghold for Octagon CSI, ‘IRB World of Rugby’ is a weekly half-hour rugby highlights show produced in-conjunction with the International Rugby Board. The show consists of features and action. It will keep viewers up-to-date with recent matches and results and also entertain with features concentrating on star players and new developments within the game, especially within the emerging nations.
