The JOB FAIR

The iWorkinSport Job Fair debuted last year as the first international career fair focused on the sports industry, enabling some of the most renowned organisations in the marketplace to meet, interview and recruit students and alumni from the most prestigious sports management courses in Europe. The 2nd edition will take place once again at the SwissTech Convention Center, in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 18 May.

iWorkinSport is more than just a recruitment platform!

The career fair is the perfect place for recruiters and HR professionals to exchange knowledge and promote “what it’s like to work at their companies” to a qualified audience. As an important addition to this year’s programme, the recruiters from various companies will now be invited to take part in a special Recruiters Workshop & Networking Session, on the evening of the 17th May, which will be followed by a dinner with the representatives of the Academic Partners.

All Academic Partners that participated in the inaugural job fair – CIES’ The FIFA Master, AISTS, the Johan Cruyff Institute, the University of Liverpool’s Football MBA, and the EU Business School – approved the event and have signed up to return, and others will join.

The Recruiters’ feedback was also extremely positive:

• 100% of the Recruiters rated the event either Excellent or Good;
•  50% said that it exceeded their expectations, while the other 50% said it met their expectations;
•  Over a dozen candidates were hired as a result of their attendance at the event.

iWorkinSport Job Fair is co-organised by ENGAGE Sport & Entertainment, a Swiss-based events company, and the sports innovation network ThinkSport. The 2018 edition of the event has the support of the International Centre for Sports Studies – CIES (Gold Partner), WORKS Ltd (Design Partner), Wiz-Team (Event Registration Partner), and of the local hosts, City of Lausanne and the State of Vaud.
