NFL Announces Wild Card Playoff Schedule

Commissioner Paul Tagliabue announced today the schedule of sites, dates and times for the National Football League Wild Card games of January 12-13 (all times Eastern):

NFL WILD CARD WEEKEND

Saturday, January 12

NFC: 4:30 PM ET, Tampa Bay (9-7) at Philadelphia (11-5) (ABC-TV)

AFC: 8:00 PM ET, NY Jets (10-6) at Oakland (10-6) (ABC-TV)

Sunday, January 13

NFC: 12:30 PM ET, San Francisco (12-4) at Green Bay (12-4) (FOX-TV)

AFC: 4:00 PM ET, Baltimore (10-6) at Miami (11-5) (CBS-TV)

The NFL Divisional Playoffs will be played on Saturday and Sunday, January 19-20, AFC and NFC Championship Games on Sunday, January 27, and Super Bowl XXXVI at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday, February 3.

The annual AFC-NFC Pro Bowl, featuring the NFL All-Stars, will be played in Honolulu, Hawaii on Saturday, February 9.
