(Cheshire, England, May 8 2004) The Ladies European Tour announced today their new Tour logo to coincide with the partnership with Robe di Kappa in becoming the title sponsor of the Ladies European Tour.

The Robe di Kappa Ladies European Tour logo is an all new design, complimenting the Tour’s restructuring and re-branding after bringing their commercial rights back ‘in-house’.

‘With the Tour’s recent restructure, a new title sponsor and the positive trend which ladies golf and the Tour are enjoying, we felt it appropriate to create a fresh and prominent brand image,’ explained Ian Randell, chief executive of the Robe di Kappa Ladies European Tour.

‘We have incorporated parts of the previous design with the logo and lettering of our title sponsor, Robe di Kappa, and I believe that the red and white colour scheme provides a strong corporate image that will become distinctive throughout the world of sport.’

The agreement with Robe di Kappa runs for four years from 2004 and the clothing manufacturer will supply the official leisurewear, staff uniforms and waterproofs to both the Tour and the European Solheim Cup team in 2005.
